INTERACTIVE CONCEPT GENERATION
Living Logo
This project was a group project done in the "Passion for Design" course at TU/e in 2006. While the initial concept was my idea , it was improved within a group study.
The brief of this project was to utilize animals as an element of design for humans. We chose cats and Paris as our concept. As our scenario, we imagined a famous jazz bar in Paris that is named "la rue". The signboard of this bar is designed like an interactive place for cats where the cats would like to gather, which are very common in the streets of Paris. A signboard that was also a warm place with some smell of food and a textured surface good for scratching would attract the cats, and when a cat moves on this sign, a movie reflected on the wall of the bar would start playing, which would become stable when there was no movement. This place could also be a place for feeding cats if wished.
Such a board would take more attention of people and, would attract animal lovers to the bar. Additionally, the semantic meanings of a cat, as an image, were thought to be very suitable with the concept of a jazz bar in Paris.

Use Scenario
This project is an important project for me since it is a unique example of the endless possibilities of combination of the 'Experience Design' and 'creative thinking'. During my studies and professional life, I was able to explore such interesting possibilities of design with numerous projects, which widened my creative thinking potentials so much that I became a person who seeks for providing a more innovative, wiser or practical solution to even smaller problems.
