I am a UX designer with a background in Industrial Design, specializing in user experience design, usability engineering, and human-computer interaction. Throughout my career, I have worked across multiple design disciplines, including UX Design, Interaction Design, Usability Engineering, User Interface Design, and Industrial Design.
I believe that design is not only about creating solutions, but also about designing the process itself. Every problem requires a unique approach, and a designer's value lies in the ability to iteratively shape the right process around the problem while balancing user, business, and technical needs.
I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Design from one of Turkey's leading design faculties. During my Master's studies, I spent one year at the Eindhoven University of Technology as an exchange student, attending courses in multimodal interactive systems and product design.

After nine years of professional experience, I pursued a second Master's degree in Usability Engineering at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Germany, graduating in 2019.
During my undergraduate studies, two of my projects, Modulus and Niche, were exhibited at prominent national and international exhibitions and received recognition for their innovative concepts. Both projects were featured in various media publications. My first Master's thesis at METU explored the concept of smart homes, while my second Master's thesis focused on the usability and user experience evaluation of IoT systems, resulting in the design and validation of a practical evaluation tool.
With more than 15 years of experience in UX and product design, I have worked on complex digital products across mobile, desktop, and connected systems, often within larger product ecosystems.
Throughout my career, I have led UX initiatives from concept to implementation in both B2B and B2C environments. My responsibilities extended beyond product design to establishing design infrastructure and collaborating closely with engineering, product and marketing teams to support efficient implementation and alignment with user needs, business objectives, and marketing goals.
My work has reached millions of users across major global markets, providing me with experience designing for diverse audiences, cultural contexts, and usage scenarios. My background combines product and UX strategy, design systems, usability engineering, and experience in regulated environments, including medical device software. Working closely with engineering teams and industry standards has strengthened my ability to design within technically complex domains where usability, product quality, safety, compliance, and cross-functional alignment are critical.
In addition to end-to-end product design, I have contributed to establishing UX processes, building design systems, and coordinating stakeholders across design, product management, engineering, and business teams. Working across diverse industries and product groups has strengthened my adaptability and ability to quickly learn new domains, technologies, and tools.
One of my strengths is the ability to understand and map complex systems, identify subtle relationships between concepts, and connect ideas through systems thinking and analogy. I naturally focus on understanding the broader context while maintaining attention to detail. I am also a continuous learner who values curiosity, honesty, kindness, and fairness.
