I am a User Experience designer with an industrial design background, concentrating on UX design and usability of HCI systems. I have experience in various design disciplines, such as UX, IxD, Usability, UI, ID. I think that designing is an act where one must creatively design the process itself in each unique problem and what makes a designer novel is his/her ability in the iterative formation of the process focused on the problem.

I have a Bachelor's and MSc. degrees in industrial design from the leading design faculty of Turkey. During my Master's study, I attended for 1 year courses on multimodal interactive systems and product design at the Eindhoven University of Technology as an exchange student. Later on, after 9 years of professional experience, I attended the MSc. program in Usability Engineering at Rhine-Waal University in Germany and graduated in 2019 with a good degree.

During my Bachelor study, two of my student projects (Modulus and Niche) were exhibited in important international and national exhibitions and took attention with their creative features. Both projects appeared in various media. My Master’s thesis at METU was exploring the “smart home” concept. And my second Master's thesis was on Usability and UX Evaluation of IoT systems, where I designed and tested a practical tool for this aim.

With over 15 years of experience in UX and product design, I have worked on complex digital products across mobile, desktop, and connected systems, often as part of larger product ecosystems.

Throughout my career, I have led UX design projects from concept to implementation across mobile, desktop, and connected products in both B2B and B2C environments. My work involved not only shaping the products themselves, but also establishing design infrastructure together with engineering teams to support efficient implementation and alignment with user needs and marketing goals. As my designs have reached millions of users across major global markets, I have gained experience with diverse user groups and market contexts. I also bring experience in data visualization for complex digital products, building multi-brand design systems, applying native patterns, designing consistent layouts and information architectures, and validating design decisions.

My background combines UX strategy, design systems, and usability engineering, including experience in regulated and risk-relevant environments such as medical device software, working closely with engineering teams and industry standards. This experience has strengthened my ability to work within technically complex contexts where product quality, clarity, alignment across teams, and compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements are essential.

In addition to product design, I have contributed to establishing structured UX processes, supporting design systems, and coordinating stakeholders across design, product management, engineering, and business teams. Working across diverse product groups and teams has required me to adapt to a wide range of tools, strengthening my ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies.

My talent, I believe, is in my ability to map complex systems, discern subtle relations between concepts or ideas, use analogies and  trying always to frame the big picture. Additionally, as it might be inferred from my background, I am a continuous learner, who appreciates honesty, kindness, and fairness.
